Macau Macau!!!

It was a wonderful 3 days together touring this exciting city with the students and Christof. So much things to do...so so little time. Almost all felt that it was really too short. However, I went for 14 days trip in Taiwan and also had exactly the same feeling...so the conclusion is there is just no holidays that is too long.

The famous Tai Sam ba - shopping / eating / sight seeing district

This is my No. 1 favourite activity - Macau Tower Skywalk extreme

High level @ 235m , gusty wind , chilling weather, misty sky, screaming student S behind u (she grabbed 2 safety ropes - no wonder the guide though he saw ghost...) , spending 1 hour out there ans only cost $40...really value for $$ kind of experience.

I am too old to jump off the tower...but glad to see LY/Annie/JT jumped. Ming Hui even jumped TWICE!!!.

Now next is my No. 2 favourite activity = Casino at Rm 623 in the 2nd night. Not that I win $$ from it...but you should listen to the laughters in that 90 mins session.

in the den we have 1 gambler who is afraid of ghost, 1 who gets high even without alcohol, 1 who says $20 instead of 20 points, 1 who play bombay style, 1 who is my all time black jack partner, 1 who is more interested in playing SM, 1 big time gambler who sponsor my casino cost, 1 who run away with my $10 HKD reset and 1 who hide her $$ v v v deep inside her clothing.

So u can imagine what kind of things that can happen during such game. I really had fun.

My 3rd most favourite activity - Go carting!! The Macau track is soooo much better. Wide and spacious and well maintain and also relatively cheap ($20/10mins).

GL is the best among the students,,just finished behind me and Christof, LY the most daring (b4 the crash) chasing me racklessly until the U turn (she went straight...hahahah). And of course who can forget student S - who ends her ride with BIG BANG - TWICE some more!!!Thanks to her, no one thinks I am a horrible driver this time.

I am sure U will have your own favourite acitivities - Like walking 20 mins to the Go cart stadium, getting lost in Taipa bus trip, enjoying the 288 laser light water fountain, casino hopping to look for a cheap black jack table, forgot to lock the airplane toilet door etc etc.

Food wise...i think we all would agree that this is the best

Dear readers, kindly vote for your top 3 activity in Macau and also perhaps let others know why too!! Thanks.

  • hmm...vote for the top 3 activities ah? Here we go:

    1. Go cart! This is the activity I enjoyed most, because since young, I've always wanted to try my hand at racing..haha..but however, I need to be more aggressive :)

    2. Macau Tower! This offers a panaromic view of Macau City and neighbouring Zhuhai City...but couldn't see that far due to the smog.

    3. Tai Sam Pa! Almond cookies and bah kua...very tasty! :)

  • The best part of course is the one at Macau Tower!!!!
After jumping I start to doubt whether I really got phobia of heights. wahaha.. I told my mother 我有去跳楼 and she was was stunned. hee.. when she told me NEVER to jump again, I was like "wa.. luckily I jumped. If not i wont get to do it anymore." keke.. And thankyou for paying for us. n_n

Then next is the Tai Sam Pa where we wont get sick of shopping even though we walked up and down so many times in 2days ( plus the night u all went Taipa... T__T ).

Last but not least is the go-cart. My first time playing, so I got to experience all people overtaking me. wahaha. especially the one with in purple.. &^$£$%@^$%^&* zoom so fast.. OH YA! I got evidence of this very dangerous driver (your dear student S) overtaking lohyun. Very fierce wor! haha.. (I think I better stay away from her for 2 weeks after posting this. hee..)

Anyway, thankyou for organising this trip! Dun leave us out of the list when u are planning for next trip hoh! hee..

  • It was an excitng 3 days trip for me though most of the time I was struggling with chopsticks and don't understand wat the people there are saying:) Anywae, the top 3 things for me was

1st prize: of course the skywalk lah...esp with ur lecturer keep telling u to go more to the edge and waiting for u to fall off:)n of course the things that i do there until the guide oso noe me:)

2nd prize: Have to be the go-cart...1st time playing and everybody oso want to hantam me..esp the one in PURPLE jacket....zoom pass us all the way..too engrose in that PURPLE until i accident liao. So, vent my anger at the end of the race lor..knock all the cars down..BANG!!!haha

3rd prize: this one would be taking the public bus in Macau. 1st time taking it, get lost at dunno where oso.2nd time got phobia, so must take together with lecturer..but think choose the wrong lecturer:)end up stopping at wrong bus stop and have to walk ALL the way..

  • It's really heartening to hear that many of u enjoyed the short trip together with my family. I know quite afew of you even better during the trip. And U are welcome to join in any of the future graduation tour as well...if time n cost permits.

Next trip ? June - Kukop!!! (still not sure to opt for a 1 full day or 2D 1 night trip). Will check out the availability and cost 1st then decide...so watch this space later for announcement.

End of year for my annaul trip - I think we will again go back to Taiwan - for the 6th time. (this time the bullet train in ready so we can travel further from taipei to explore other cities). Alishan mountain is also on my mind....

As for Graduation 2008 tour - I really really want to push for Bali. If security / cost wise is ok. Been there once on business, and the scene / things to buy / do is really cool and exciting. Really want to be there with my family...with syudents too if u can make it.

  • First sure go to Macau Tower! I jumped twice and i enjoyed it so much!!!hahaha next time i will try Bungy, which the speed is much faster because it is free fall. this time the skyjump is like hanging you down so the speed is slower...anyway, i really enjoyed it haha

Second will be go-cart...I enjoyed a lot too...I wished to join for the second session but I dont have the money...I spent most of money on skyjump...so I need to save $$ haha

And third will be Tai Sam Pa...Tried different food there and had experienced the lifestyle in Macau

I am glad that I have known each other better after this trip, and I meet new friends

Thanks Mr Goh, Mr Luda and everyone who made this trip so enjoying =) I hope that graduation trip in future will be so successful too
