Merry X'mas!!...and a happy new yaer...

My block has a re-surfacing project down a ground level and make it extremely noisy and dusty for the past fwe days. Hence to get away from the disturbances, we decided to spend the X'mas days away from home.

Luckily I am a VIP memeber of a hotel group and have a voucher in hand. As long as it is 48 hours notice given, my room reservation is gurenteed...even it is X'mas eve.

Last time we spend our local getaway in Intercon is 2 years ago...during Chinese New Year. Like we used to do last time...we shop / dine in Bugis Junctions, Buguis street area, went to the new National Library for the 1st time, visit Bras basah complex (my hang out placeduring school days).

Each of us bought something for the festive period. I bought SOLAR CD, 再说长江 DVD and 苏州弹词 CD.

The children went swimming for 3 days in a row and i spent time relaxing in the jacuzzi instead. Even manage to finished a book borrowed from the library. We even went Taka / OG for shopping for 1/2 day but the crowd is really getting into our nerves.

Throught the 3 days...received quite a few well wishes from various ppl. Didn't bring my charger along and battery is running low so sorry that I can't reply to u all one by one.
