Bedok TreeTop Adventure Day

Oh what a wonderful day for adventure. Perfect weather- cloudy / overcast but no rain. Perfect day to have a outdoor activity outing with 20 fun seeking colleagues / students and even graduates from NUS too.

1st thing I must say is that this outing turn out to be very very fun !! More enjoyable than I originally thought..I believe every one leave home at 5.30pm exhausted...not from exercise / climbing but due to laughing!!!

Too bad we don't have Student S or LY with us...if not their screams will make it all the way back to NYP. However thankfully we have student R and D (2 persons not as in R&D) with us. with thier combined effort to entertain us with their scream...it was able to make laugh until we cry...well, almost.

and just when we think the entertainment have all finised and about to go home....Allen and student JL surrised by by their stunts...and that made our day and this time I really feel tears of joy bursting of while laughing at them.

This is so fun that I really think we can come back here for regular visits for each batch 3rd year students. Excellent way to bond and plenty of fun n excitment...worth every cent we spent seriously.

Just to sshare with you some of the pictures taken from the recent trip to taiwan:-

It's really rare to find people of the same name as me...finally I found this shop which has exactly the same characters as my name in Jia Yi city. Coincidentally, that day is the 1st day opening of that book shop!! We went in to shop for awhile...nice n well furbished!!

Then we also found ShuLin name on the train to Ying Ge!!! Only till today then I realised that her chinese is 树林. And she live near Woodbridge (板桥)!!! Hahahahahahah

Ever tried freshly fried crisps?? Found that in the taipei night market...Nice!!

This is taken during the slow train ride towards Alisan mountain top...that night temperature :- 9 C...COLD!!

Sunset scene taken from our hotel room on Alisan top. I was bathing in the tub and my wife screamed!!! Thought she saw a rat initially.

Then later we went to the hotel top to watch the stars...and realised that it was also full moon that night!! Awooooooo.....we heard some strange howling and ran back to our room.

So many trees in the mountain top are all 1500 years and older...the oldest we can find is approx. 2000 year old. Awesome!!

Dead tired after shopping at night markets and climbing mountain.

My son's favourite time every day - play mahjong before he went to bed at 12am. Looks like he has my gambling blood...

Still many have more in the camera...but can't show u all here lah...Interested can come to my room and I show you on my computer. Hehe...

2008 CNY 过年小聚

哟哟哟！！！ 又过年啰！！！

Successfully booked the function hall in my EC last night at 12.01 am. Need PY and Ah Meng to remind me at the critical moment. Either I am lucky that no one compete with me on the same time slot or I am fast to book, I finally secured the rental of the hall. :)


So here is the official announcement : 2008 CNY gathering is on 8 Feb (Lucky!!) Fri from 4-10pm at my EC hall.

Sorry for those Malaysian students/DT/grads that need to travel back to home town for home reunion. Hopefully next year timing is better. But I am very sure you will have such a great time back home you won't miss any thing here. (I save some ang bao money also!!!)

Since the time of gathering is rather late into the evening I guess I have to cater for some food to make sure you are well fed. :) Jelly sharks' fin and rubber abalone anyone?

Booked the karaoke room also ...but think most likely just to play cards / creat extra space...the VCD player/system is quite horrible actually.

As usual if you are coming, register in the comment area to let me know. Kindly do so before 30 Jan so that i can plan for the food and packets properly.

P.S. - the address:- Quintet EC, CCK St 64, near Yew Tee MRT, cross the O/H bridge and cut across the HDB for 150-200m, and you will hit St 64. Turn left and follow the road and past Windermere EC, the next EC in Quintet.

23 Jan Wed Bedok TreeTop Adventure!!

Planning to go for an outing at Bedok the 23rd Jan Wed pm from 1.30pm till 5.30pm.

Intend to go for the Grand course, info as follow :
