Mini CNY union Lunch at ChinaTown

It's the 29th of 12th month - day b4 CNY eve....DT A and PY are both roaring to travel back to their home for CNY gathering / reunion. So both will actually miss my CNY gathering.

DT A will feast for the next 2 weeks with family and put on at least another 5 kg and PY actually going to Taiwan for a 7 day tour!! So I guess they will enjoy themselves a lot during the next 2 weeks.

Decided to go for a good meal just for the sake of CNY. Never tried this 谭家鲍鱼盆菜 b4...so why not give it a try. Managed to gather 2 cars of colleague who willing to lunch out with me and have a mini union lunch together.

Funny thing is...the dept is growing yet the number to times we lunch out as a group is getting more difficult. We somehow develope various lunching habits and pattern so actually the staff eat in small circles at various locations.

I am trying to have a little bit of CNY mood and also it's nice to have meal with some colleagues whom you work with but no time to eat together during the term. The number should be abit bigger ideally but size of resturant and transport and staff availability and meal prefrence become a burden to please all. In the end we just stop at 2 cars and go marrily.

Is the meal good? Yes not bad - although the albalone is small than we expected, much smaller! hahahahaah. Worth the money? - It's NOT about money we go for this CNY gathering meal.

After the lunch we continue for desserts. Walk 15 mins to help consumed the energy we just intake. Just to put in more suger into our body again. but it's very tempting so I even packet more for my family. Never tried 双奶皮 b4...actually taste good when chilled. Will try the hot version next time.
